The most important - excellent location by the river.

The hotel was in a magnificent and perfect location close enough to the fields for coffee and cake, the centre of the village and a lovely pub. The best thing was how very amiable and incredibly welcoming the staff...

It has spotless and well-maintained rooms to offer with nice shower, a nice view, as example.

Truly enjoyed delicious breakfast, well-appointed and tastefully decorated room.

The bed was big, and the room itself was large. The staff was very amiable and affable, some of them especially.

The location was convenient, near a local pub 100 yards away that serves great food and drinks as well as Haddon Hall. It also was next to the post office.

The food was outstanding with variety of choice! My room included central heating, an ironing set, and a coffee/tea maker.

We had a wonderful stay at Holly Cottage B&B for two nights. The room was lovely and had electric blankets on the beds. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The B&B is conveniently located next to a shop and post office, and it was a perfect base...  

The breakfast was okay, but nothing amazing. The location was good, with some nice walks around. We also appreciated the little touches on arrival, like a piece of cake and a chocolate, it was quite nice....  

stay at Holly Cottage B&B in Pilsley exceeded expectations. The spacious and clean room overlooking gardens provided a peaceful retreat. The nearby Devonshire Arms served quality food and drink, making our stay enjoyable and convenient.

Limited check-in times caused initial concern.

The nearby pub adds convenience and adds to the overall experience.

The pillows were slightly too firm for my liking, but overall it did not detract from the wonderful stay.
